Can you trust astrological love predictions and compatibility? Yes you can but it may not be a good idea to reject someone you're attracted to just because he or she is the wrong sign. Astrology is a traditional art form based on experience and observation. It's a subjective tool we can use to better understand ourselves and others. It gets us thinking objectively about who we are and who we would like to spend most of our time with.
While it's true that certain signs are more compatible than others, there are good reasons to trust our own psychic intuition when it comes to love compatibility. Here's why.
Consider these factors. If you read most articles on zodiac compatibility you'll notice that they are filled with generalities. Also many of the characteristics can apply to people of any sign. All people have the same tendencies to a greater or lesser degree. Depending on the situation, time of day, or mood, people can be outgoing or introverted, balance or unbalanced, quiet or loud, dominant or submissive, loving or not loving, emotional or logical, stable or a risk taker, etc. ...
Then there is our human tendency to put neat little labels on everything so we can feel safe and secure. The truth is that just because certain signs are more compatible doesn't mean that every individual is identical because they were born under the same sign! There is a wide range of personalities within each sign. We are humans, not machines or drones with exactly the same personality based on our date of 'manufacture' or date of birth.
People are far too complex to blindly rely on zodiac compatibility alone. Our personality is a combination of natural tendencies, our zodiac sign, genetics, and our environment. i.e. how were we raised as children? What influence did our parents, siblings, friends, teachers, and other adults have on us?
Don't get me wrong. Astrology and zodiac compatibility is fascinating. It's interesting to read about the traits of different signs. Here's what we learn from a study of the zodiac signs. We learn to honor of the similarities and differences of people regardless of their sign. The first step in finding true love, is to love ourselves unconditionally regardless of our natural tendencies. When we can love and accept our own personality traits we can begin to embrace all personality traits. Loving someone is all about accepting, respecting, and appreciating them just the way they are, even if they are far different than we are. Its called unconditional love and it's something that we all crave.
Finally there is our belief system or BS for short. Whenever we believe in something it becomes true for us. We don't need to be 'victims' of our zodiac sign. We have the power to change if we want to. When we change our beliefs and attitudes, we begin to create a totally new 'truth' or reality. Here's what I suggest. Read up on zodiac compatibility and contemplate it's truthfulness based on observations of people you know. On this page you will find links to information on all the zodiac signs.
Then make a list of qualities you like in yourself. On the other side of the page make a list of qualities you'd like to change. Next make a list of qualities you like most in other people. Lastly, draw a mental picture of your ideal partner by listing exactly what you want, down the last little detail. Be specific. Contrary to popular belief, the more specific you are, the faster you will attract your ideal match.
To attract a healthy, romantic relationship that you'll be happy with for a very long time, you'll need to know who you are, and exactly who you're looking for. The rest is easy. The universe is generous and wants to give you exactly what you asked for.
We run into trouble when we are confused. When we're unsure of what we want, the universe gives us nothing. As soon as we have a very clear picture of what our ideal mate will be like, suddenly he or she appears. When it comes to love, it only takes a moment for a miracle to happen.
