Intuition. I Know That!

How is it that we know what we shouldn't know? Can we trust our intuition? Is it reliable? Or should we trust only in our left brain? What is more accurate? Can we trust our right brain and our emotions? Our gut feelings? Hunches? Or should we ignore intuition and deal only in facts? This paragraph is a good example of how our left brain thinks. Questions like these can't be answered with 100% accuracy. Sometimes when we rely on our left brain all we do is end up spinning our wheels and going nowhere.

Words like 'I know that' or 'I knew that' are easy to say after the fact. The truth of the matter is that we didn't know that at the time. We know it now because we see the evidence. We have the benefit of hindsight.

Right Brain. Left Brain.

Which one is best? The right brain feels. It deals in gut feelings, hunches, intuition, and the unknown. The left brain 'thinks'. It likes concrete facts, logic, and proof. Which one should we trust? That's like saying would I rather have a set of lungs or a heart? Which one is best? The fact of the matter is that both right and left brain is necessary.

Without a left brain, facts, logic, and 'reality' we would not be able to function well. However if we rely only on the left side of our brain, we can spin our wheels and still make terrible decisions. Why? Because our right brain notices things that we shouldn't know. It's more connected with energies, gut feelings, and other beings that are nearby. It is also connected with everyone we've been in contact with, especially people we have an emotional connection with.

Our right brain can pick up messages 'telepathically'. I reads minds and observes things our left brain misses. In a way it is able to gather and process much more data and spit out the best answer more times than not. The problem is it's all too easy. No thinking is involved. And because of that our left brain refuses to cooperate. When we doubt and second guess the psychic ability of our right brain, we are on the path to making poor decisions. On the other hand if we rely only on our right brain, we could get into trouble as well.

Intuition. Hunches. Gut Feelings.

When can you trust your right brain? Sometimes we're undecided or confused. This is not intuition. When gut feelings are strong, it usually means we should trust our hunches.

Look at it this way. No matter what decision you make you could be wrong or you could be right. You could do nothing. But then you'd be going nowhere. In order to get what you want action is required. This means a decision is needed.

You can flip a coin. You can analyze your options with your left brain. And you can engage the help of your right brain. Usually in really important matters, it's best not to ignore your hunches, gut feelings, and intuition. If all the lights are green but you have a knot in your stomach that says stop, it means one of two things. Either you're afraid. Or there's a problem with the decision you're about to make.

The more you rely on intuition, the easier your life becomes. You'll be able to make decisions very quickly. Start using your intuition on small things first until you gain confidence. e.g. play the 'wonder game'. Wonder who's calling when the phone rings. Which way is the best way home from work. Should I go out tonight? Who's at my door?

I Knew That!

On of the simplest psychic tools you can use to develop intuition is a pendulum. Find one that is not too heavy but not too light and about 3-4 inches long. First clear your mind and get your left brain out of the way. Engage your right brain. Then hold your pendulum very still about one inch off a table and ask 'Which way is yes?' Notice which way your pendulum moves. Then ask 'Which way is no?' Do this several times.

Then start asking 'good' questions. This takes practice. Your right brain is very literal. If you ask your questions the wrong way you'll get the wrong answers. Do some research on dowsing. It's a great way to develop your intuition. As you practice, you'll eventually get so good at using your right brain that you won't need a pendulum anymore.
